Multimodal Transit Hub
Project :
Transportation Hub | Urban DesignYear :

Parel & Elphintone Road,MumbaiThe Parel-Elphinstone precinct of Mumbai is the hub for majority of the government hospitals and the
high-rises–commercial as well residential. This transformation of the urban fabric from the old mill
lands is increasingly burdening the existing resource–railway stations. The project design aims at the creation of an integrated transit hub in the context of transformed urban fabric encompassing different modes of transportation associated with newly designed urban tissues carving the social downtown. Identification of the critical junctions created a bottleneck which we have tried to open for smooth circulation. Replacement of the old stone arched bridge over the existing railway station with cable-stayed bridge that allows utilization of leftover spaces under the bridge – for hawkers, parking, commercial offices, etc. The floor above the railway station acts as a shelter providing organized space for commuters to access other modes of transport–bus, taxi, etc, eliminating the chaos. Creation of green patches advance waiting areas to people who have time to kill in between or to people who want to conduct meetings on the go leading to the division of space. In addition to this, a conventional center is proposed over the railway station without hampering the commuter’s traffic to do away with the travel time ultimately reducing the traffic & also generating revenue for better maintenance of the building.

Residential Apartment
Project :
Apartment | Architecture DesignYear :
2020Location :
Andheri, MumbaiRestriction of space or land always stimulates the designer’s calculative mind to come up with a good aesthetic. Here, keeping into consideration the space and land constraints, we have mapped out a simple yet elegant design that allows natural cross ventilation through bigger & wider darshani windows and a compact yet functional planning, making it competent and budget-friendly. The project work accentuates how the framework has so much more to do with enhancing the beauty of the art than the artwork itself. We tried to achieve the same through framing out the windows along with a combination of colors that add a subtle, minimal yet sophisticated outlook. The thought was to highlight the facade with sleek lines of art in order to emphasize the elegant features of contemporary architecture.

Dynamic Facade Design for a Residential Tower
Project :
Residential apartment| Façade designYear :
2023Location :
Dadar, Mumbai.“The facade design of the residential tower focuses on creating a visually appealing and functional aesthetic. At first glance from the road, the parking podium is the prominent feature, which inspired the use of a parametric pattern that is not only easy to install and maintain but also creates an eye-catching visual experience for passersby. The building’s name is prominently highlighted with an iconic design, occupying a dedicated space above the podium to ensure it stands out. Above the podium, the upper floors are designed with chajjas that seamlessly blend into the overall building design, enhancing both the aesthetic and practical aspects of the facade. This combination of thoughtful design elements ensures a cohesive and modern look, making the building a distinctive landmark in the area. The facade serves as a perfect balance of style, functionality, and ease of maintenance.
